Dey Alexander – Principal Consultant
Dey has over 15 years' experience in a range of web-related roles, from design and coding to strategy and analytics, usability and accessibility and writing for the web. Before starting this consultancy in early 2006, Dey managed the user interface design team at Monash University.
In the last three years, Dey has offered training and consulting services to a range of government, university, corporate and non-profit clients across Australia. She has lectured at Monash, Melbourne, Deakin and Swinburne universities on user-centred design and web accessibility. In 2004, she co-founded the Web Accessibility Network for Australian Universities (WANAU) and coordinated two Australia-wide series of forums in 2005 and 2007.
Dey is a member of the Usability Professionals Association, Computer-Human Interaction Special Interest Group, and the Information Architecture Institute. She has reviewed papers for the Ausweb and OzCHI conferences and for scholarly journals.
Outside of work, Dey loves meditation, chanting, bushwalking, her dog Bacchus, and spending (more) time in India.

Roger Smith

Derek Brown
Derek has over 10 years' experience developing communications for the web. His strength is in marketing communications. Derek has:
- Been involved in major web branding exercises
- Coordinated site-wide search engine optimisation projects
- Created targeted web content to support online marketing and advertising campaigns
- Produced quality copy for marketing brochures and magazines
- Written for email newsletters and web sites.
Derek has experience in using user-centred design methods to identify user needs and evaluate online copy. He is a member of the Web Accessibility Network for Australian Universities.
